By accessing or using Kariiya, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using Kariiya on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Kariiya is an AI-powered career assistant that helps users create resumes, write cover letters, track job applications, and receive career insights. We may update, modify, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Kariiya for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose. You must not:

• Upload or share false, misleading, or inappropriate content.
• Attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without permission.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

5. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, software, designs, and content within Kariiya are owned or licensed by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Kariiya for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

6. AI-Generated Content

Kariiya provides AI-generated suggestions, including resume improvements, cover letters, and interview preparation guidance. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the information before using it in your applications or communications.

7. Third-Party Services

Kariiya may link to or integrate with third-party platforms such as job boards, email providers, or authentication tools. We are not responsible for third-party content, actions, or policies. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms.

8. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellations

Some Kariiya features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Payments are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel anytime through your account settings; cancellation becomes effective at the end of your billing cycle.

9. Limitation of Liability

Kariiya is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use—or inability to use—the Services.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kariiya, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or caused harm to the platform or other users. Upon termination, your access to the Services will immediately end.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or legal obligations. The latest version will always be available on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of Kariiya after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
